There are numerous definitions that explain what a blog is. Basically, a blog, or a “web log” is a journal that is kept up online by a single participant. The participant, or writer, keeps an archive of past entries in chronological order. Companies may also hire bloggers for on a case-by-case basis, in which they will ask a specific blogger to write on certain topics.
There are also many businesses that are taking advantage of the popularity of blogging, and have started their own blogs online. These companies hire writers to upkeep a blog for them in order to keep their community updated on the latest news and events that are relevant to the specific topic.
