What ever happened with The Rich Jerk?

I haven't made a post to this blog since December 9th, 2005...

In fact, after telling you that "my plan is to keep you posted via this blog with updates, pictures, etc..." in this post - I've hardly posted here at all.

That doesn't mean a lot hasn't happened. It definitely has.

The Rich Jerk commercial shoot was a ton of fun.

I had a blast in Disneyland with my family.

The only problem is that I'm not much of a journalist... and finding time to write about my trip never happened.

As I understand it, The Rich Jerk commercial will start national syndication sometime this month... I heard that my testimonial will be part of the commercial so it will interesting to see how it turns out.

Regarding The Rich Jerk himself, I'll say this...

He is not who you would expect him to be.

Personally, I like the guy a lot and I think what he's doing with his program is first-class. He's breaking down doors, reshaping the mold, helping others and making a ton of money in the process. If you haven't checked out The Rich Jerk yourself yet, I encourage you to take a look at his website here.

Because of high quality of his program, The Rich Jerk is now the 2nd official recipient of the Dotcomology Seal of Approval:

I'm sure he doesn't care though... He's too rich to worry about prestige. ;-)

The Enormous Power of Past Success

I was checking my voice mail yesterday and received a message that was short and sweet. It said: "My name is Ken Shapiro. I'm the writer, director, producer and star of the motion picture 'The Groove Tube'. Please call me back at ..."

Interesting. The writer, director, producer and star of a motion picture?

My curiosity was aroused so I went to Google and looked up "The Groove Tube". I discovered that Ken Shapiro was indeed all of the things he said he was and that Chevy Chase, a very famous American actor, had is debut film appearance in the movie. My mind determined that Ken Shapiro was a force to be reckoned with so I gave him a call.

It turns out that Ken found me online and was seeking some guidance on how to promote his new project at http://www.BedBooks.net. "Bed Books" is a very interesting innovation and I must admit that I've often wanted to lay on my side in bed and read a book, but that's not a very comfortable thing to do. Thus, Ken's unique idea and business has the potential to really take off.

In our brief conversation, we exchanged pleasantries and I gave Ken a few tips on getting publicity for his site. He's obviously a guy who takes action on his ideas so I expect that he'll take the information I gave him and put it into motion immediately. If so, you'll be hearing a lot more about Ken and BedBooks.net in the near future. In exchange for my time and advice, Ken said he is sending me a "Bed Book" to try out.

What's interesting about my conversation with Ken is my motivation for having it in the first place. Considering that I receive an overwhelming amount of voice mails every single day and that I'm rarely able to call anyone back on the phone personally, why did I choose to pick up the phone and call Ken on my dime?

The answer is because Ken had established that he was already successful. Because of the accomplishment of making "The Groove Tube" movie in which Chevy Chase appeared back in 1972 I determined that calling Ken would be, at the very least, interesting. I also sensed that there could be the possibility for me to benefit in some way because I perceived Ken to be powerful and influential.

I was right. Ken is powerful. He's a doer. He makes things happen and I respect him for that. In this world, it's the dreamers that take action and persist until they succeed that get my attention. That's why I called Ken and that's also why he was able to benefit from a free consultation with me. In that discussion, I gave Ken some very specific advice for marketing his website that has the potential to bring him all the business he can handle.

The point to take home is that Ken's previous success in the movie business made it a lot easier for him to get the information and resources he needs to succeed in his new venture. In other words, past success has power.

When I first started my Internet business it was not easy. In fact, it was downright difficult. I spent thousands of dollars on credit trying to learn the game and acquire the tools I needed to build my business. Everything was expensive and the people who I thought could help me grow my business the most wouldn't give me the time of day. I was a nobody in this world.

However, I was persistent and by leveraging my financial and creative resources I was finally able to make my first sale online. Once that occurred, I simply focused on what I did right and did more of it. My sales continued to grow and I was becoming successful.

From those initial small successes, I was able to continue building my knowledge. I realized that once I had knowledge, I could share it. By sharing my knowledge with others, I was able to become an expert. As an expert, people were attracted to me. Through that attraction, I was able to sell more goods and services. I was becoming *very* successful.

Then other experts got attracted to me. They started giving me their products and services for free. They were also open to the possibility of working together. The same products and services that I could barely afford in the beginning of my career and the same people who wouldn't give me the time of day before, were now becoming as freely available to me as oxygen itself.

Why? The answer is simple. I was already successful.

Is it easier for the rich to get richer? Absolutely. Is it easier for successful people to become more successful? Definitely. The momentum has already been established. Money attracts more money and success attracts greater success.

Before you get cynical, first consider the fact that most of the rich and successful people in this world started with nothing but their ideas and enthusiasm. They were able to use that energy and put it into motion to create their own success.

In most cases, the path they traveled was riddled with moments of confusion, struggle and failure. But they persisted and with each small success their path got easier and easier to travel until they eventually paved it and turned that path into a "success super-highway" that now allows them to travel and succeed with ease.

The enormous power of past success is that it can and will catapult you toward greater success in the future. Use everything in your power right now to create some initial success and then roll that success forward to create more success in your life. You will ultimately discover this is a very easy thing to do.

To Your Success!

Google's Secret Domain Name Registration Policy

I was reading a forum post by Willie Crawford who is one of my favorite Internet marketers. Willie brought up a point that Google may favor ranking domains that have longer registration periods. His source, a domain name registrar, stated the following:

"As part of Google's recent patent application, Google made apparent its efforts to wipe out search engine spam, stating:

'Valuable (legitimate) domains are often paid for several years in advance, while doorway (illegitimate) domains rarely are used for more than a year. Therefore, the date when a domain expires in the future can be used as a factor in predicting the legitimacy of a domain and, thus, the documents associated therewith.'

Domains registered for longer periods give the indication, true or not, that their owner is legitimate. Google uses a domain's length of registration when indexing and ranking a Web site for inclusion in their organic search results.

To prove to everyone that your site is the real deal, register for more than one year and increase your chances of boosting your search ranking on Google."

Some domain name registrars are inclined to promote this position because it may motivate their customers to increase the terms of their domain registration, thereby increasing the profits of the registrar.

That being said, I can also understand Google and other search engines considering the term of a domain registration as a small part of their algorithm used to determine free rankings of a website in their search engine. It is the job of every search engine to provide the most relevant search results possible and it is often the website owners who have a long-term mindset that are providing the most value to their visitors.

Aside from the search engines, I do know that some website visitors also check how long a domain is registered as part of their own personal due diligence to decide if they want to do business with a company or not. Think about it... If you are providing a service and your potential customer goes to http://www.whois.net and finds out that your domain expires in less than a year, they might think you're a "fly-by-night" company that won't be there when they need you and decide not to do business with you.

All in all, I believe it's important to have a long-term mindset when building your Internet business. If it helps you even slightly to get a better search engine ranking or increase the trust that potential customers have in your website, registering a domain name for a few extra years is a sound investment.

Inspired by this insight myself, I just added 5 additional years of registration do my Dotcomology.com domain which is now currently set to expire in the year 2012. I plan to be around until then and hopefully much longer. What about you?

The Rich Jerk and Disneyland...

I just made reservations to take my family to Disneyland!

Here's what happened:

This past Saturday I received an email from The Rich Jerk asking me if I wanted to provide a testimonial for an infomercial he's shooting in California on the 10th.

I've made a lot of money applying some of The Rich Jerk's techniques to my sites so I said yes. I've been working the past few days to make arrangements.

Yesterday everything was finalized and I'll fly into California with my family this Saturday morning. I'll do the testimonial interview that afternoon and then it's Disney, Disney, Disney until we fly back next Friday.

I've never been Disneyland.

I've never been part of an infomercial.

This is going to be a lot of fun!

My plan is to keep you posted via this blog with updates, pictures, etc. It will be a testimony to the Internet lifestyle in action. :-)

Stay tuned...

The Misspelled Domain Name Experiment

Recently, I bought the domain name: bashfishing.com. Not bassfishing.com, but bashfishing.com. (The difference is an "sh" instead of an "ss" in the word: bass.)

Here's how it happened...

One day I was visiting my chiropractor and picked up a business card for a guy who owns a website called bassfishing.org. He's a fishing guide in my area. His business card was compelling and made me want to check out his site.

When I got home I turned on my computer and opened my web browser. I then proceeded to look at his business card and type the following: bashfishing.org

The site returned an error. Again, I put my cursor back in my browser address bar, looked at his card again and typed the following: bashfishing.org

I got another error. I thought maybe the site was down but then I realized something... I had misspelled the domain name. I was typing bashfishing.org instead of bassfishing.org. As soon as I corrected this mistake, the website opened up just fine.

And then it hit me like a ton of bricks...

If I misspelled that domain TWICE IN A ROW maybe other people misspell it too. Therefore, I immediately went to Google and typed in "bash fishing". Here's the page Google returned: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=%22bash+fishing%22

At the time of this writing, Google lists 1,870 pages on the Internet that misspelled "bass fishing" exactly the same way I misspelled it: "bash fishing".

Next, I went to my favorite domain registrar to see if bashfishing.com (the misspelling of bassfishing.com) was available. It was.

Then I went over to ClickBank.com to see to if there were any bass fishing related info products that I could affiliate with to earn commissions. In fact, there were a few of them and the sales letters for each product looked pretty good.

So I went back to my domain registrar and registered bashfishing.com. Then I got my ClickBank affiliate link for the bass fishing info product I wanted to promote, logged into my registrar and setup a re-direct link that pointed from my newly acquired bashfishing.com domain to my new affiliate link for the bass fishing info product. Voila!

Here's the result: http://www.BashFishing.com

Now every time someone opens their web browser and intends to type bassfishing.com but makes the same mistake I made and spells it bashfishing.com, they will be re-directed to the sales page for the bass fishing info product I'm promoting. If they buy it, I'll earn a 75% commission on the $29.95 purchase price of the product. That's not too bad for 15 minutes of work.

Will this strategy make me any money?

I thought it had good potential, but it has been a few months now and I have not made any sales yet. However, just one sale per year would make this a profitable investment for me and I still believe that's possible. Only time will tell though.

Still, I'm certainly not the only one testing this strategy. A quick Google search for "misspelled domain names" will pull up hundreds of result and discussions on the subject.

Another example of this technique in action is from a popular public speaker named Fred Gleek who owns Speeking.com which, of course, is a misspelling of the word "speaking". In a seminar I attended where Fred spoke, he claimed to be receiving a steady flow of qualified traffic from that misspelled domain name.

If you want to try your hand at this game yourself but can't think of any misspelled domain names on your own, I just found a site that has a "misspelled domain name traffic finder" software program that you can check out for free at: http://www.snapfiles.com/get/misdomain.html

Who knows? Maybe you'll harvest your own online fortune by using misspelled domain names to your advantage... Good luck!

2 million dollars per year from type-in traffic?

"I don't like to work," says longtime domainer Rick Schwartz, almost yelling as if to convince everyone within earshot that they're fools if they do. "I figure any moron in the world can generate work for themselves and tie up their time. I have one laptop, no employees, and no product whatsoever -- none! This is magic." Magic, he claims, that's earning him $2 million a year.

I pulled this quote from the story on CNN Money website located here.

WOW! 2 million bucks a year simply for buying domain names and pointing them to partner websites??? That's incredible.

I've tried my hand at a little domain prospecting myself, but have not yet pulled in any Rick Schwartz type income from the type-in traffic alone...

A few years ago I paid a lady in Yugoslavia several thousand dollars for my http://www.Home-Business.com domain. I make a lot of money from that site these days, but it's not type-in traffic that does it for me. I promote my Home-Business.com website using various Internet marketing strategies.

I also paid a large chunk of change recently for my http://www.WebsiteBuilder.com domain that I currently have re-directed to a website building product I'm affiliated with. I do earn some money from the type-in traffic for this domain but I'm still a long way away from recouping my total investment...

According to the news story on CNN Money, Rick Schwartz has over 5000 domains and paid $108,000 for his Candy.com domain name back in May 2002. He apparently has a strategy that works well for him and it just goes to show you that there are many different ways to make a living from the Internet.

Income from virtually anywhere in the world...

It's 12:48 in the afternoon as I start this post and I'm sitting in a gymnasium with my wife and son watching our daughter work out in her private gymnastics lesson.

I've got my laptop turned on and I'm logged into my Blogger account via my Verizon wireless broadband Internet connection.

This kind of freedom is one of things that inspired me to start and Internet business in the first place. I always thought it would be so incredible to create and control my financial life through a little electronic box that I can carry with me virtually anywhere in the world.

Last year, I spent 3 weeks in Hawaii with my family at the exquisite Kea Lani resort in Maui. It was amazing and while I was there, my Internet business didn't miss a beat. A couple of hours a day, I'd just relax in my gorgeous hotel room, plug into the high speed connection and take care of my daily business duties.

Now I'm planning a 2 month vacation to France with my family this summer. This kind of freedom is only possible for me because I've worked hard to create a successful Internet business that can now be run from any computer in the world that has Internet access.

And now that I have a wireless broadband connection from Verizon, I can take care of business virtually anywhere...

I've realized my dream and the view from here is absolutely breathtaking.

The technology and opportunity for you to create a similar business that allows you to work when you want and where you want on your own terms exists for you right now. There are as many ways to earn money on the Internet as there are people in the world. And this whole "making money online" phenomenon is really just getting started.

The world is an amazing place and the opportunities for freedom are increasing every day. Stop sitting on the sidelines and get in the game.

If you're looking for an easy and fast way to start generating an online income I encourage you to check out my Plug-In Profit Site service.

Mega Profits Program

This post is part of my review of Ewen Chia's Secret Affiliate Weapon.

Mega Profits Program: Make Unlimited Commissions On THREE Different Levels At The Same Time Now!

That's the claim. Let's see how it works...

In the final section of your Secret Affiliate Weapon membership center, Ewen explains in greater detail how the Secret Affiliate Weapon (SAW) affiliate program works. He explains that you get paid $5.98 up-front for every customer you refer to the SAW website. That's not much, but then it gets a little interesting...

Ewen's affiliate program also pays you when the customers you refer also buy the ClickBank affiliate products he recommends inside the membership site. So the customers you refer would also have the opportunity to buy other products Ewen recommends on the back-end and you would get a commission for those sales too.

I'll say this about it... It's a clever setup. Indeed, Ewen is a brilliant marketer and has created a solid win-win proposition for his affiliates.

Moreover, he goes on in this section to include several pre-made marketing materials for you to promote your Secret Affiliate Weapon affiliate site including a couple of ezine solo ads, a few classified ads and some attractive promotional images like this:

Ewen also assures you that promotional articles are on the way too.

Ewen wraps up the site by asking you to submit your success story or testimonial if you found the membership to be beneficial to you as an affiliate marketer and finishes up with a final P.S. to encourage you to join the "Your Lucky List" and "Instant Buzz" traffic generating programs. Once a marketer, always a marketer! ;-)

Very nice job on the site Ewen.

You've earned the official Dotcomology Seal of Approval.

This concludes my review of Ewen Chia's Secret Affiliate Weapon.

Instant Traffic Package

This post is part of my review of Ewen Chia's Secret Affiliate Weapon.

The next item up for grabs in your Secret Affiliate Weapon membership is "500 laser-targeted and REAL visitors".

To claim these visitors requires that you setup an account with Marvin Haycock's Ad Voyager program. I was going to test it out but one of the rules of the program stipulate that: "I agree to place the AdVoyager code (advertisements) on at least one of my trafficked web pages while my ad campaign is active."

I don't agree to that. There's a catch to claim the free 500 visitors... And that implies that the 500 visitors are coming from ads on other people's websites. In reality, even if you cooperated, it could take years to get your 500 visitors from this program if you get them at all. I'm not impressed with this offer.

Secret Affiliate Weapon Database

This post is part of my review of Ewen Chia's Secret Affiliate Weapon.

The next item available inside your Secret Affiliate Weapon membership is a "Secret Database" that Ewen says contains short, simple and to the point information on succeeding with affiliate marketing. Basically, it's a private member's only blog that Ewen updates with this latest articles.

In his first post, Ewen outlines his 'proprietary' 7-Step "Affiliate Cash Checklist" which is his answer for how to choose a good affiliate program to promote.

His 2nd post in his secret blog is just another promo for his "Ultimate Affiliate Marketing: Step-By-Step Blueprint To Succeeding As An Affiliate Marketer!" report that I discussed in an earlier post.

Ewen's 3rd post is about something called a "Commission Maximizer" page. In a nutshell, it's a tool that he's selling to that is supposed to help you create presell pages for affiliate products you promote. Purchasing it doesn't look like much fun because you've got to jump through different hoops like joining something he calls "Marketing Main Event". In all honesty, this gets a little confusing for me... It all looks very professional and powerful, but there's just too much "gimickry" going on for my taste.

That being said, his post does teach a valuable marketing lesson with a great illustration on the AIDA principle: Attention, Interest, Desire, Action.

The remaining posts include: "How To Find Affiliate Programs In Your Niche", "So What If You’re A Newbie...", "Affiliate Email Copy Formula: How To Create Your Own Sales-Pulling Email Copy For Promoting Affiliate Products Quickly And Easily!" and "Affiliate Blogging Blueprint". It's all solid information that will definitely help striving affiliates make more money if applied.

Additional Training Report #2

This post is part of my review of Ewen Chia's Secret Affiliate Weapon.

Additional Training Report #2: "Quick-Start Guide To Google AdWords"

This is an 8 page PDF report that walks you clearly through the process of setting up and launching a Google AdWords advertising campaign.

For your convenience, Ewen also compiled and posted a list of keywords suitable for promoting your Secret Affiliate Weapon affiliate page. He also notes that Google's policy will not all you to promote your Secret Affiliate Weapon affiliate link directly through AdWords so he recommend this tool: http://www.landingpagebuilder.com which is currently available as a free "Donationware" download. It's used for making landing pages that you can use to promote your favorite affiliate products through the pay-per-click search engines. It looks like great recommendation to me.

Ewen wraps up the report with a few Google AdWords do's and dont's.

This report is definitely a good introduction to the world of Google AdWords.

Additional Training Report #2 is the final report available in the Secret Affiliate Weapon membership site right now. Ewen assures us that more reports are on the way with this concluding statement: "This section will be updated regularly".

Additional Training Report #1

This post is part of my review of Ewen Chia's Secret Affiliate Weapon.

Additional Training Report #1: "Quick-Start Affiliate Profits: How To Promote ANY Affiliate Program For A Surge Of Immediate Profits...Even If You're Starting From Scratch!"

This is the next item on the list inside the Secret Affiliate Weapon membership site.

It's a short 7 page report where you get a few tips on how to build and utilize our own opt-in mailing list, how to use other peoples lists through ezine advertising, how to use list builder and traffic exchanges, how to use pay-per-click advertising, how to do article marketing, how to leverage your existing assets and how to use "thank you" emails to earn back end affiliate profits.

There not really much new information in this report if you read Ewen's first report: "Ultimate Affiliate Marketing: Step-By-Step Blueprint To Succeeding As An Affiliate Marketer!", but it's short condensed package of quick tips that could help you get on the road to success. Of course, he's promoting his preferred traffic programs that he's affiliated with too in there which is just good smart marketing on his part. ;-)

Master Training Blueprint

This post is part of my review of Ewen Chia's Secret Affiliate Weapon.

Master Training Blueprint. That's what Ewen dubs his PDF report: "Ultimate Affiliate Marketing: Step-By-Step Blueprint To Succeeding As An Affiliate Marketer!"

Here's what found notable inside the report:

I'm reminded how gifted Ewen is at teaching. He is very articulate and is able to communicate broad concepts efficiently and provide rational examples that make sense to most people. Chapter 1 provides a very good understanding of what affiliate marketing is all about. It's an excellent primer for newbies. In fact, I know a lot of practicing affiliates who need to read that chapter simply because even though they are an affiliate, they don't actually "get" what being an affiliate is all about and why it is one of the most powerful business models in the world.

Chapter 2 really lays it all out there and gets the potential affiliate marketer to really think about and decide whether or not affiliate marketing is the right business for them. Ewen has formulated some solid questions and laid the truth (including potential pitfalls) out on the line for people to make an informed decision about whether or not they should pursue affiliate marketing. I wish I had read this info when I first started out.

Chapter 3 briefly discusses why most affiliates fail to make money and what characteristics allow super affiliates to make obscene amounts of money.

In chapter 4, Ewen outlines the tools necessary for an affiliate marketer to be successful and compares to building a house by saying that you wouldn't build a house without a hammer and nails and to build a successful affiliate marketing business, you'll need the following:

#1: Domain name and web hosting. He also provides some links for registering domain names and hosting accounts at reasonable prices as well as some links for free hosting.

#2: Site templates, HTML editor or basic HTML knowledge. Again, Ewen provides some links where you can pick up each of these things. What I'm seeing is that Ewen isn't trying to sell you something in particular with these links. He's making honest recommendations for products and services he believes are the best options in each particular case whether he is affiliated with the product or not.

#3: Professional autoresponder. In this section, Ewen has put together a comprehensive list of links to free and paid autoresponder solutions as well as explaining why an autoresponder is so important to an affiliate marketing business.

#4: Link tracking and testing software. Again, Ewen provides a solid list of links to potential tracking solutions and a detailed explanation as to why it's important to track your advertising campaigns.

I'm noticing that many of the solutions Ewen links to are products and services that I didn't even know existed. It proves that he's definitely well-informed and has done a lot of research to put this training guide together. Just for the $9.97 it costs to join Ewen's membership site, it's already been money well invested for most people - especially if you're just getting started.

Chapter 5 is an explanation about how to setup a ClickBank account and setup your own Secret Affiliate Weapon affiliate account. He provides EXTREMELY detailed instructions in this chapter including lots of screenshots and step-by-step instructions for getting your affiliate account and referral link setup exactly right. It's poetry really. ;-)

This is where Ewen is really working hard to help you become his affiliate. Brilliant!

Now that you have your Secret Affiliate Weapon affiliate link setup, Ewen takes you by the hand and walks you through the process of launching your own Secret Affiliate Weapon marketing campaign. He's a sly little devil isn't he?! ;-) As I said, it's poetry in motion. I love it!

He teaches you how to launch an ezine advertising campaign, how to use article writing and distribution to promote your website and how to use traffic exchanges like Instant Buzz and Traffic Swarm along with a couple of others to generate visitors and sales. I'm sure he's building a nice downline in both of these traffic exchange programs through this recommendations in this chapter. I personally think Instant Buzz and Traffic Swarm are very effective traffic exchange programs and I see that Ewen shares this opinion.

Further down in the chapter, Ewen continues the momentum and encourages you to setup your advertising accounts with a few more programs that look like they could be effective. He's doing a brilliant job getting people enrolled in all these traffic generating programs through this report... that's for sure. But that's a good thing. You can tell they are sincere recommendations and have the potential to really help people who want to get traffic to their website.

While chapter 6 will all about the "quick fix", chapter 7 starts driving home the long-term marketing activities that you need to be doing to be truly successful as an affiliate marketer including: pay-per-click traffic, viral reports, joint ventures and back end offers. He also makes a point to say that with the exception of pay-per-click traffic, all of these long-term traffic generation methods are essentially free.

The good news is that Ewen definitely doesn't let you down in this chapter. He goes all out and provides about 20 pages of hard-core "how to" detail with no fluff whatsoever. Honestly, people are charging $50 or more for less information than you get in just those 20 pages.

Ewen concludes the chapter by giving you a very solid "Affiliate Maintenance Tasks" checklist that is a very useful group of reminders that will keep any affiliate (new or experienced) on their toes and constantly improving their business. Too many people spend too much time focusing on activities that don't increase their profits. Using Ewen's checklist regularly will really keep you focused and productive in your business which can make all the difference in the world.

And that's the end of Ewen's "Ultimate Affiliate Marketing: Step-By-Step Blueprint To Succeeding As An Affiliate Marketer!" report.

Great job Ewen!

Inside The Secret Affiliate Weapon Member's Area

This post is part of my review of Ewen Chia's Secret Affiliate Weapon.

OK, I've logged into the Secret Affiliate Weapon member's area.

It's well designed and looks to be very organized. Aside from the navigation links at the top of the page, the first thing that gets my attention is a special offer box that looks about like this:

It's a promotion for a software product that apparently helps you get your email through the spam filters to your prospects. It costs $27 if you want to buy it.

As I scroll down the page, Ewen reminds me what I'm getting for my $9.97 purchase:

- A real-time updated secret affiliate marketing database where I'll be revealing special tips, tactics and strategies to help you in your affiliate marketing business...
- Exclusive training reports and articles when available...
- A very profitable built-in Mega Profits Program where you get to make easy commissions in 3 different ways across 5 hot-selling products at the same time (details below)...
- An "Instant Traffic Package" of 500 real visitors...
- And more to come!

Alright, let's check everything out...

First on the list is a 56 page training report in PDF format called: "Ultimate Affiliate Marketing: Step-By-Step Blueprint To Succeeding As An Affiliate Marketer!" I'm told I'll discover these things inside the report:

* What affiliate marketing really is – and why it's
one of the best business models around...
* What separates those who make massive profits from
those who never see a single commission...
* What you need long-term in order to really
explode your commissions...
* What to do right now if you're a total newbie, working
on a shoestring budget, with no website and no list...
* How to stay in the game and keep growing and
profiting...

Let me download and read the report and I'll be right back...

Your Secret Affiliate Weapon

This post is part of my review of Ewen Chia's Secret Affiliate Weapon.

My friend and fellow super affiliate, Ewen Chia contacted me a few days ago and offered me a complimentary membership to his Secret Affiliate Weapon membership site.

I've known Ewen for several years mostly by reputation. He is widely respected. I have read one of his books and was very impressed with the quality of the material. Today, I'll attempt to walk you through my experience with this Secret Affiliate Weapon membership site.

First off, let's see what the sales letter promises...

In a nutshell, I gather that Ewen is going to reveal some of his most effective affiliate marketing strategies if sign up for his membership site. In addition, he promises to provide me with proven "Copy & Paste" style promotions that I can simply plug-in to my existing marketing campaigns to make some easy profits. His sales letter also says that if I pay $9.97 to join right now, I'll get 500 free visitors to any website I choose.

Additionally, Ewen says that the next 100 members receive a "Quick-Start Affiliate Profits" training guide as a bonus. I personally doubt that bonus is actually reserved for the next 100 members only. In most cases, marketers say something like this to create a sense of urgency, but the bonus usually lasts forever... I can't confirm this is the case with Ewen though. He might be telling the truth.

He also says that the reason for the low $9.97 enrollment price is so that he can collect "Success Stories" and that once he has enough of these, he will convert the site into a monthly recurring membership site. That sounds reasonable enough.

OK, so we pay $9.97. What do we actually get?

Let me login to my Secret Affiliate Weapon account and find out. My next post will give you more details...
